Description
Engine: Isuzu - IM 4LC38 Marine diesel engine
Cooled via skin tank and also heats hot water system when the engine is running through the calorifier.

Gearbox: PRM marine gearbox.

Hull: Steel 10mm 6mm 4mm made by Reeves in 2004

Heating: Central heating is run the Eberspacher (new last year) and heats five radiators throughout the boat. 1 large in the living area, 1 medium in the double bedroom, 1 small one in the hallway, another small one in the bathroom and a medium one in the single bedroom. So there are radiators throughout the the boat.
There is also a Stovax multi fuel stove (new last year), in the front that can burn wood or coal, fitted on tiled plinth with tiled surround.

Hot water: Hot water is made the through the calorifier at the rear of the boat, either through running the engine or from the Eberspacher diesel heater (no need for the engine running with this).
Hot water is pipe under pressure to the bathroom for a shower and basin, also the kitchen sink.

Electrics: 12 volt - there are 4 batteries, one for the starter, 2 for domestic use and one for the heating (Eberspacher).
Charging is via the engine (alternator on split charge relay) or through the Sterling 50amp charger (mains powered), with battery charger conroller.
230 volt - The mains shore is wired through a fuse box and there are 6 double sockets throughout the boat. 2 double sockets in the living area, one at each end, 1 double socket in the office, 1 double socket in the double bedroom and 2 double sockets in the single bedroom at the rear.
This system is fully certified. There is also provision for an inverter to be wired in.

Boat Safety Certificate: The British Waterways boat safety certificate is valid untill 2013.

Fresh water: Fresh water is held in a large stainless steel tank at the bow (front) of the boat under the floor.
This tank holds 110 gallons (500 litres) and serves the taps and hot water. The water is pumped under pressure from the front of the boat, so both the hot and cold flow on demand.

Refrigerator: The fridge is a full domestic size with small ice box and runs on 12 volt.

Cooker: The cooker is gas (LPG) and is full size with 4 ring hob, grill and oven.

Gas: The gas is located in a gas locker located at the bow (front) of the boat and holds 2 13kg bottles with a change over switch, one can be removed without turning the cooker off.
Only the cooker is run on gas on this boat, very safe!

Shower: The shower is fully enclosed and located in the bathroom, complete with folding glazed (frosted) door. There is a therostactic control valve on the shower to control the tempeture.

Toilet: This a 12 volt pumpout toilet, with a huge holding tank. Pumpout points and vents are mounted outside.

Lighting: Lighting is provided but double stip lights throughout the boat, there are also lights at the heads of the beds in the bedrooms.

Venterlation: There are several skylight vants throughout, mounted in the roof, as well as vents in the front and rear.

Fire fighting: There are 3 power fire extinguishers throughout and 1 fire blanket.

Music: a CD radio is wired in at the front of the living area with hard wired speakers in the walls.


Areas/Rooms.

From rear -

Cruiser deck with wide wooden bench over tiller. Lots of outside floor space for several people when moving, storage when moored.
Under the deck is the engine, gearbox, diesel heater, fuel tank (builtin) and the btteries.

In through 2 doors and sliding hatch over, to find ac electric box, engine control panel and cubards.
Through into first bedroom, single but could be made into double, twin or even a workshop. first is the wardrobe, followed by the bed with draws under for storage. opposite is a drop down desk with shelves under, plenty of floor space, large mirror on the wall, also 3 lights with switches on the walls.
There is also a medium radiator and a door that can shut the room off.

Next a 6 foot high cubard with shelves for storage in the hallway.

Onto the bathroom, 6 foot of shelves for storage, shower with folding glazed door. Sink with mirror over, storage under. Then pump out wc.

Out and into double bedroom with double bed that has reading lights on each side the head end, along with a little shelf inset.
Wardrobe at the foot end with full length mirror. Medium radiator with brass rail over, doors at each end to close room off.

Through hallway to small office with builtin deck light, shelves, double socket and window. This has its own door and can be totally closed off.

Onto 6 foot cubard with door, also more storage.

Then kitchen with stainless steel sink with drainer and mixer tap. Domestic size fridge, full size cooker, storage and worktop.

Living area - this all loose furniture so can be moved, but does work well.
Dinning table with 4 chairs, with double socket close. Then arm chairs towards front, facing stove on one side and TV area on other, with builtin CD radio under.

Step leads out through double glazed doors to the bow (front) outside, to find small seat with storage under and gas bottle locker in front of that.
The fresh water tank is under this floor.
