Description
Built by Banbury Boats in 1992 Shroppie Lass was purchased by us earlier this year and has come back on the market simply because we love the life style so much we both intend to live aboard and require a little more space. Before the purchase went through a full survey was carried out, all works were completed and we subsequently spent another £6,000 updating her with a 3kw combi inverter, 3 leisure batteries, replaced the Porta Pottie with a Thetford C200, plus extra cassette, had the boat blacked, fitted a galvanic isolator and a shore line. Shroppie Lass has a large well deck with 2 lockers and a glazed cratch plate, double doors lead into the living area on the right is a solid fuel stove, opposite a TV unit with shelving above, the two fixed sofa’s which convert to a double berth/dining area are off set which allows space for more shelving and occasional furniture. The ‘U’ shaped galley is well laid out and comprises of two double corner units, two large single units, peninsular shelving and a large wall unit, the gas fridge has been mounted within the bulkhead at eye level with a built under oven/grill and a four burner gas hob. The updated bathroom has a full sized shower, Thetford Cassette WC and a vanity unit with inset basin, before the fixed double bed the space allows for a free standing 6 drawer pine chest and a full length cupboard housing the Alde central heating boiler. The engine compartment houses a Vetus 4 cylinder engine, a full length cupboard and an unusual single berth, ideal for pampered pets or small guests! Shroppie Lass is a 51’ trad, her boat safety runs until October 2010, the full survey and receipts for works carried out are available and she is priced to sell.< She is lying at SWANLEY BRIDGE MARINA near Nantwich in Cheshire.
