Description
Gleavesy is an all steel 30ft Cruiser Style Narrowboat built by the well known boat builders Hancock & Lane in 1976 to the specification of 10/8/6. The boat is powered by a single cylinder Yanmar Y12SE marine diesel engine coupled to a mechanical gearbox. The boat has benefitted from a partial refit by the current owner approximately 12 months ago. There is seating at the front of the boat which converts to a full width double bed and also another convertible double in the saloon, making this a comfortable 4 berth boat. An Eberspacher D4 Diesel Warm Air Blower provides the heating. Power comes from 2 12V domestic batteries and a 12V starter battery. The boat also has a 240V landline. The boat was fitted with a brand new stern "pramhood" canopy which is around 18 months old and still in very good condition aswell as a new control box, and new 12V Water Pump. The domestic water tank was also cleaned and painted around this time. In the galley there is a 2 Ring Vanette Cooker/Grill & Oven unit and also an eletric Firdge & Freezer The bathroom contains an Elsan Porta-Potti and a shower compartment. The boat currently has a BSC until 2009 and also a full hull survey from 2002. The moorings on the Bridgewater Canal in Sale are not included in the sale but you are free to apply for these seperately. Viewing by appointment only.
